Avon Lake Memorial Stadium
The Avon Lake Memorial Stadium is the site where many athletic events, such as football and soccer games, are held.
The stadium has a seating capacity of 5,000 (3,600 home and 1,400 visitor). The field is turf and contains markings for football and soccer. There is also an 8-lane track circling the field.
The stadium was built in 1959. The stadium was renovated, and turf was installed for about $2.25 million in 2010. The decision came after a muddy game with Amherst High School in 2009 when the players were so mud-soaked that no one could tell them apart..
